Bull stars as six-shooters Drefach get off to flyer
DREFACH Under-14s started their Carmarthenshire Junior League campaign with a 6-0 win at Pembrey.
Drefach were quick out of the blocks as Iwan Bull, Ryan Roberts and Owain Jones looked sharp up front.
Bull ended up bagging his first hat-trick for the club, with Roberts and Jones providing assists.
The midfield trio of Jayden Davies, Dylan Rees and Charlie Thomas threaded some slick passes for the front runners, with Davies and Rees also bagging a goal each.
There were also fine performances from defenders James Thomas, Tomos Bull, Siencyn Rhys and Harri Thomas, while goalkeeper Daniel Davies will be happy to start the campaign with a clean sheet.
Defender Tomos Bull chipped in with the sixth goal.
Drefach put together a terrific and well-organised performance against spirited opposition who refused to throw in the towel in a hard-fought contest.
