Police appeal after shop ‘spitting’ incident

A CUSTOMER allegedly spat at a shop assistant in a shop in Llanelli.

Dyfed-Powys Police have issued an appeal following the alleged assault, which occurred on September 9 in a Spar in the town.

A spokespers­on for the force said: “Dyfed-Powys Police is investigat­ing an allegation of common assault which occurred at about 7.45pm on the 9th September 2022.

“Officers have carried out all possible lines of enquiry, and are now appealing for help from the public. They would like to identify the person in the CCTV image, who may have informatio­n that could help the investigat­ion.
