Leisure club The leisure club met on Tuesday, November 8, for their monthly meeting. Minutes for the last meeting were approved and apologies and absences noted. The Red Lion, Llandyfeilog, being the venues for this year’s Christmas dinner. A bus will be provided and pick up times shared with members along with menus. This month’s meeting took the form of a quiz compiled by Heather and Ann – it certainly got the grey cells working! There were joint winners: Ann and Paul, Margaret and Dave. A vote of thanks was given by Dorothy also to Alun for for setting up the equipment. The meeting concluded with tea and biscuits. There will be no meeting in December as the Christmas dinner is the following day.
