Come and join Santa and our Christmas characters as festivities begin at 5.30pm on Thursday, November 24. There will be carol singing, a parade followed by the switching on of the Christmas lights at the town square. Parc Stephens hosts Santa’s Grotto along with his sleigh and a great selection of market stalls.

Christmas Fair at Parc-y-Bocs Sunday November 27. There will be something for everyone on the day; Santa’s Grotto, elf workshop, trade stalls, food and drink. There will also be doggy photographers Wild Paws Club. It promises to be a memorable and magical day out for all the family.

Epic Explorers For 4 to 11-year olds every Thursday from 5.30pm-6.30pm at the Parish Rooms, St Mary’s Church – songs, craft, stories and games. Admission is free and includes squash and biscuits.
Kidwelly Local History Society Meet normally on the fourth Thursday of each month. The venue is now the John Burns Centre, Parc House, Kidwelly, SA17 5AB. Please note new starting time - doors: open at 5.30pm for 6pm start. Free refreshments available after the presentations. Entrance fee: members £1, non-members £3, Under-18s free. Ty Golau (House of Light) Dementia Charitable Trust Therapeutic group for people with memory problems meet every Monday morning (10.30am-noon) at Canolfan John Burns Centre, Carmarthen Road, Kidwelly. Every session is specifically aimed to stimulate the brain in a fun and non-threatening way. Refreshments are included in the cost of £5 for service users and £1 for carers/family members. Flower arranging classes Very basic flower arranging classes. Classes will now be held on the first Tuesday of each month from 7pm in the Parish Room, St Mary’s Church. There will not be a class in January. Please bring your own flowers. Tea and coffee will be provided at a charge of £2. A warm welcome given to all.
