Trundle’s goals can’t rescue side from defeat
FORMER Swansea City star Lee Trundle scored twice for Ammanford, but couldn’t stop them falling to a 4-2 defeat at Trefelin in JD Cymru South.
Zac Brown gave the home side the lead in the first minute of added time at the end of the first half, before Trundle struck two minutes later.
Roan Piper made it 2-1 to Trefelin before Joe Clarke scored with a rebound from a penalty to extend the lead.
Trundle pulled another one back before Damon Thomas rounded things off with the home side’s fourth goal.
Ammanford are now 10th in the table ahead of Saturday’s trip to Abergavenny Town.
