Welsh conversati­on classes If you have some knowledge of Welsh and would like to improve your conversati­on, then come along to the Parish Room Lady Street on Monday evenings between 6.30pm-7.30pm. A warm welcome awaits. Over-50s meeting on the first Wednesday afternoon of every month at Neuadd Mynyddygar­reg at 2pm. A friendly chat and cuppa awaits you with a possible guest speaker, a game of bingo and monthly activity.

Kidwelly Local History Society The next meeting will be on Thursday March 21, at the John Burns Centre, Parc House, Kidwelly, SA17 5AB - doors open at 5:30pm for 6pm start. Free refreshmen­ts are available after the presentati­ons. Entrance fee £3 for Non-members. First Grand Adventure New Film on Amelia Earhart, a presentati­on by film producer Ceri John.

Short Mat Bowls held every Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm at the Princess Gwenllian Centre. The charge will now be £15 per month. Bowls are also provided if required.

Kidwelly Rugby Club Bingo every Thursday at 8pm. All welcome.

Flower arranging classes Very basic flower arranging classes. Please note – classes will now be held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7pm in the Parish Room St Marys Church. Please bring your own flowers. Tea and coffee will be provided at a charge of £2. A warm welcome given to all.

Tai Chi classes will be held fortnightl­y for the over 75s at the John Burns Foundation Centre. These classes are offered free through funding to Reengage UK by Welsh Government, and candidates must register with Bethan Nesham on 02922 790147 who will do a health questionna­ire over the phone. The sessions always include a sit down element and indeed, can be performed seated throughout. There is also a free session of Tai Chi at the Foundation Centre for people with life-limiting illnesses and their carers. These sessions are held twice a month and can be accessed by contacting Angor charity on 07380 125690. Angor welcomes people to their drop in sessions every Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm in the Cabin at the John Burns Foundation Centre.
