Plea changed to guilty of failing to provide a specimen or specimens of breath for analysis in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence at Hamilton Police Station, Leicester, on October 15, 2016. • Matthew Mansell, aged 24, of Leivers Close, East Leake.
Pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle in Bedford Square car park, Loughborough, on February 5, 2017, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath, namely 127 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. Community order made. Must carry out 200 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. To pay victim surcharge of £85 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for three years, to be reduced by 39 weeks if a course is completed by March 27, 2019.

• Michael James Commons, aged 30, of Hall Lane, Whitwick.
Admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Leicester Magistrates’ Court on May 31, 2016, by missing two appointments on December 14, 2016, and January 17, 2017. Order made by Leicester and Rutland Magistrates’ Court on May 31, 2016, varied. The new end date of the order is now November 30, 2017. Fined £50.
• Jason King, aged 46, of Avenue Road, Sileby.
Plea changed to guilty of causing the victim to fear that violence would be used against them by his course of conduct which he knew or ought to have known would cause fear of violence in that he made threats to harm the victim on several occasions between September 1, 2016, and October 20, 2016. Committed to prison for 16 weeks, suspended for 12 months. Reason for custody: nature of offence. Defendant must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.
