Disney treat is a big hit...

-

YOUNGSTERS with lifelimiting conditions at Rainbows hospice had an early seasonal surprise party – thanks to Disney.

The family entertainment giant provided all the trimmings for a party themed on its latest film short ‘Olaf’s Frozen Adventure’, a follow up to its worldwide success with its feature length animation ‘Frozen’.

The initiative marks a new partnership with Together for Short Lives - the UK charity that supports children’s hospices – with Disney providing a magical themed ‘party in a box’ to Rainbows Hospice.

The magical giftwrapped party boxes were packed full of all the special activities, games and decorations needed to create a festive party for children and families.

Creating special moments can make a significant difference to families caring round the clock for their child. That’s why having all these magical ingredients helped create a wonderful day for children and families at Rainbows - to celebrate, come together and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Children and families supported by the Loughborough-based charity were surprised and delighted to open a Disney gift box filled with ‘Olaf’s Frozen Adventure’ goody bags and beautiful bubble balloons.

Sam Herrett, Rainbows Family Support Nurse, said: “It was a fantastic event for our youngsters. Everyone had a great time – and is very excited by Olaf’s latest adventure. We can’t wait to see it.”

The parties took place at children’s hospices across the country as part of a new partnership between The Walt Disney Company in the UK and Together for Short Lives, the UK charity that supports local children’s hospices like Rainbows.

The Partnership celebrates Disney and Together for Short Lives’ shared values and belief in creating precious moments and bringing children and those closest to them together.
