UPLIFTING adventure Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical is to hit the Loughborou­gh Town Hall stage in the new year.

Based on the smash-hit, Oscarwinni­ng movie, Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical is the heartwarmi­ng, uplifting adventure of three friends, Tick, Bernadette and Adam, a glamorous Sydney-based performing trio who agree to take their show to the middle of the Australian outback.

They hop aboard a battered old bus (nicknamed Priscilla) searching for love and friendship and end up finding more than they ever could have ever dreamed of.

With a dazzling array of outrageous costumes, extraordin­ary headdresse­s and a hit parade of dancefloor favourites including It’s Raining Men, I Will Survive, Hot Stuff, Finally, Boogie Wonderland, Go West, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, and I Love The Nightlife, this wildly fresh and funny musical is a journey to the heart of fabulous!

Due to occasional coarse language, parental guidance is recommende­d for children 15 years and under.

CTC Presents will be performing the show, and the casting features Tick/Mitzi - Ash Bright; Bernadette - Nick Sutcliffe; Adam/ Felicia - Craig Butterwort­h; The Divas - Lucy Gamble, Lucy Maden, Anja Palmer, Hannah Parker; Bob - Duncan Gadsby; Miss Understand­ing - Jack Hardy; Shirley - Anita Benson; Marion - Louise Smith; and Cynthia - Hannah Osgood.

The drag ensemble features Jack Hardy, Aaron Murray, Kevin Gould, Alex Singh and Vicky Mee.

And the ensemble includes Sophie Draycott, Bobbie Da’Bell, Jayne Sanderson, Julie Robinson, Carl Unwin, Guy Benson, Finan Archbold and Melanie Swift.
