Pub aims to raise cash for The Bridge
LOCAL landlord and business owner, Sean O’Neill, of The Needle & Pin pub in Loughborough has chosen The Bridge (East Midlands) as the company’s Charity of the Year’.
During the Christmas period, Sean, his staff team and local customers raised a generous £250 and have pledged to raise £1,000 over the course of the coming year.
The Needle & Pin has numerous ideas and fundraising plans which will come to fruition throughout the year including the sale of locally made bottle openers, collections, raffles, and specific events at the pub.
The Bridge (East Midlands), a local homeless and housing charity who help on average 2,500 individuals and families a year; across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland through multiple, advice, support and specialist services are delighted to be supported by a local business.
Sean said: “We are delighted to help this hard working charity support local families in Loughborough and beyond.”
