Duo reach county final
YOUNGSTERS Alex Vermaak and Adam Yates have just missed out on the U12’s doubles county badminton title.
Alex Vermaak is from Loughborough, attends Holywell Primary school and plays badminton at the County performance centre twice a week and Adam Yates is from Coalville, attends Whitwick St. John the Baptist C of E Primary School and also plays badminton at the County performance centre twice a week.
The duo topped their group at the championships at Babington Academy to earn a place in the final but were just edged out by the other group winners.
