Open day at town bowls club

SHEPSHED Town Bowls club is holding an open day on Sunday (May 20) from 10am to 3pm.

A club spokesman said: “Come and try this increasingly popular sport for all ages and have some fun. Bowls will be provided so just bring yourself and some flat soled shoes. Our qualified coaches will be on hand to give you some tips. The club is situated behind Charnwood Nursing Home, opposite Asda on Charnwood Road. First years membership is free for bowlers new to the sport.”
