Rob­bery at the Co-op

THREE men, armed with a weapon, have robbed a store in Shep­shed.

The men, who were masked and who were car­ry­ing what was be­lieved to be a crow­bar, en­tered the Co-op­er­a­tive store in Hall Croft at around 6.20am on Thurs­day, May 10.

Two peo­ple were present in the store at the time. The men stole bags of cash be­fore leav­ing. No-one was in­jured in the in­ci­dent.

En­quires are be­ing car­ried out and of­fi­cers be­lieve there were a num­ber of peo­ple in the area at the time who could have in­for­ma­tion.

De­tec­tive Con­sta­ble Ian But­ton said: “Please think back to if you were near the store. Did you see or hear any­thing which you thought was un­usual. Did you wit­ness any­thing which you be­lieve could be linked to this of­fence?
