Old Golden Fleece to be a youth centre

THE old Golden Fleece public house on the corner of Granby Street and the Market Place, Loughborough, was to open up again as a Christian youth centre.

The building, sold by the brewery when a new pub was built a few yards away, had been renovated and redecorated.

Initially there was to be a coffee bar which would be open in the evenings and then later a students’ lounge would be added.
