GREASE IS THE WORD!
IF you’re a film buff and want to try something new, this could be the answer.
A drive-in cinema is coming to the East Midlands and there will be several films to choose from.
The events are being organised by Urban Entertainment at the East Midlands Designer Outlet and will take place on a range of Sunday evenings before Christmas.
A spokesperson for the organiser said: “The venue, the films and the experience we are creating will be as unforgettable as the movies we are showing.
“With a mix of cult, classic and modern films, we have something for everybody to enjoy a fantastic night watching some great movies under the stars.”
Here’s everything you need to know:
WHAT’S ON?
The Greatest Showman – Sunday, September 30 Grease – Sunday, October 14 Ghostbusters (Hallowe’en special) – Sunday, October 28 Love Actually – Sunday, November 18 Elf (Christmas special) – Sunday, December 9
WHAT TIME?
All films start at 7.30pm with an estimated finish time of 10pm. Gates open at 5pm.
WHERE?
The events will take place at the East Midlands Designer Outlet in the north section of the car park.
HOW MUCH A TICKETS AND WHERE DO I GET THEM FROM?
It will cost you £25 per car. There is no difference in charge for the number of people in the car. Large vehicles will be asked to park towards the back. Tickets are available from www.eventbrite.co.uk.
HOW DO I LISTEN TO THE FILM?
Through an FM transmitter. At the box office on the night of the event you will be issued with an FM frequency to tune your car radio into.
WHAT REFRESHMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE?
Starbucks – open until the film begins. Pizza Express – takeaways will be available to order until the film begins. Krispy Kreme – order your sweet treats before 2pm the day before your showing and collect them just before the film starts. Click and collect is available here. Wagamama – takeaways will be available to order until the film begins. And of course you can take your own picnic hamper or snacks with you.
