Another town pub has been sold

Loughborough Echo - - LETTERS -

LEICESTERSHIRE pub group the Orange Tree has announced the sale of two further sites in the county, including one in Loughborough.

Following the recent sale of four of its pubs to Charles Wells, the Orange Tree Group has now sold Fenways in Loughborough and the Lansdowne in Leicester.

They have been acquired by Koban Group, a local independent operator, for an undisclosed sum. The deal was brokered by Nottinghambased leisure property specialist Everard Cole.

Fenways is a burger and smokehouse restaurant in Baxter Gate, Loughborough, which opened last year. The sites previously sold to Charles Wells included the Orange Tree pub in Ward’s End, Loughborough, along with the neighbouring Kelso in Loughborough.
