New Ire­land route

RYANAIR has an­nounced a new route from East Mid­lands Air­port to Shan­non, County Clare in the Repub­lic of Ire­land.

The twice weekly flight starts in April 2019 and brings the to­tal num­ber of routes op­er­ated by Ryanair from EMA to 40.

Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said: “We are pleased to launch a new East Mid­lands route to Shan­non in the west of Ire­land with a twice­weekly ser­vice for sum­mer 2019. To cel­e­brate, we are re­leas­ing seats for sale from just £23.99 for travel in April.”

Nicola McMullen, East Mid­lands Air­port’s com­mer­cial di­rec­tor, said: “It’s great news for the sum­mer sea­son of 2019. We pride our­selves in of­fer­ing a wide range of des­ti­na­tions from Mediter­ranean beach hol­i­days to city breaks and ev­ery­thing in be­tween. The new route to Shan­non of­fers more op­por­tu­nity to ex­plore this beau­ti­ful part of the Repub­lic of Ire­land.”
