Stonebow pupils giving back to the local community

-

FOLLOWING its great success in 2017, the children and families of Stonebow Primary School, Loughborough, have been ‘giving back’ to the local community once again this Christmas.

A small group of children named The World Explorers, together with four staff members, launched their Reverse Advent Calendar project at the end of November, encouraging the school community to think of others at this special time of year. From the beginning of December, donations of food, toiletries, nappies, toys and books flooded in to school and were handed over to Ron Crunley from the PACE charity later in the month. All donations were sorted into parcels and distributed to families in need across Loughborough.
