Dee Marie nets £1,340 for Cancer Research

LOCAL singer Dee Marie’s Cancer Research Charity Night, held at the Polish Club, Loughborou­gh, saw around 100 family and friends turn up to be entertaine­d and come together to raise money.

On the night, there was a raffle of 68 great prizes all of which had been won and claimed, cobs and cakes were sold and all takings took on these and the football cards went to the charity.

Through the night Dee entertaine­d with singing some of her signature songs and some new Christmas tunes too, she then took everyone by surprise by dressing up as the one and only Tinsel Turner.

That wasn’t the end of it as then Dee and her daughter, Natalie got into costume to sing an Abba medley.

The crowd loved it all and as a result the event raised £1,340 for the cause.
