Search on for dead man’s next of kin

A 70-year-old man was found dead in his home in the West End of Leicester on Christmas Day.

Now the coroner’s office is appealing for help in tracing the man’s next of kin and believe some family may live in Loughborough.

He has been named as John Charles Anderson and his death is not being treated as suspicious by Leicestershire Police .

The Coroner for Leicester City and South Leicester made the appeal for help in finding his family.

Coroner’s officer Ian Connelly said: “Attempts to trace next of kin have to date been unsuccessful although it is believed that there are relatives in the Leicester, Loughborough and Derby areas.

“Anyone related to John or anyone aware of contact details of next of kin is asked to contact the Coroners office in Leicester on 0116 454 1031.”
