Lunchtime concert at Emmanuel
EMMANUEL Church’s Lunchtime Concert on Thursday, January 17, will feature pianist Simeon Walker.
A native of Loughborough, Simeon is at the forefront of the modern classical piano scene. Following extensive performances across the country and Europe in support of his debut album ‘Mono’, Simeon Walker is quickly establishing himself in the burgeoning modern classical movement, receiving praise and plays across various BBC radio stations including Radio 3.
The Leeds-based pianist and composer will be joined on by violin and double bass in performing works from ‘Mono’ alongside new, unheard material.
The concert starts at 12.45pm but soup and roll lunch is served from noon. Admission is free but donations are appreciated.
