Music at lunch at Baptist Church

THE first lunchtime concert of the new year at Loughborough Baptist Church features two of the best known showtime sopranos in the county.

Ethne Goode is best known in Hinckley with Stanley Opera where she appears regularly in musicals and has sung in Loughborough on an occasional basis. Sandra Roberts is based in Loughborough but has not been heard so often of late but her performance in the Sound of Music as Maria is still remembered by older audiences.

In the first concert of the year they are appearing together singing solos and duets from their well-established showtime repertoire.

This concert is on Tuesday, January 15, at 12.45pm.
