Brush talk on the horizon

THE latest meeting of the Leicestershire and Rutland Family History Society, Loughborough Group will be a talk entitled ‘Brush, The Man and His Legacy’ by Hugh Griffiths.

The Brush Engineering Works in Loughborough has been a major part of life for many local people since the business moved north from London in 1889.

The meeting will start at 7.30pm and takes place on Tuesday, January 15, at All Saints Church Hall, Thorpe Acre Road, Loughborough LE11 4LF. Doors will be open from 6.45pm for members and visitors to enjoy light refreshments and browse our bookstall prior to the start of the meeting. Parking is conveniently located.
