Falcons FC secure away win at Mountsorrel Amateurs

IN THE Premier Cup Group A Greenhill YC beat Sporting Markfield 2-0 with Nathan Tomlinson hitting both the Greenhill goals. Falcons FC won 3-1 away at Mountsorrel Amateurs, Danny Pownall (2) and Ryan Page for the Falcons, Liam Turner for Mountsorrel. In Group B Rothley Imperial beat Belton Villa 2-1, Scott Telfer and George Geary for Rothley, Michael Lidwell for Belton. Kegworth imperial drew 2-2 with sutton Bonington, Jake Green and Tyler Day for Kegworth, James Wilks and Ashley Mace for Sutton.

Chairmans Trophy Group A saw FC Coalville win 5-1 away at Measham Welfare, Billy Read (3) and Josh Summerfield (2) for Coalville, Matt Wain replying for Measham, Greenhill YC Reserves won 2-1 away at Market Bosworth, Leon Hands and Ryan Thornley for Greenhill, Terry Godfrey for Bosworth.

In Group B Bottesford won 5-0 away at Asfordby Development, Owen Park (2, Jake Hutchinson, Sam Garner and Mark Cowling with the Bottesford goals. Wymeswold FC Reserves won 2-1 away at CK Dons, Jake Pekins and Jon Tature for Wymeswold, Tom Figura replying for CK Dons.

In Group C Sileby Victoria won 3-0 away at Shepshed Amateurs, Jake Rimington (2) and Simon Harper on target for the Vics. East Leake Robins won 2-1 away at Woodhouse Imperial, Mason Ball and Dan Hogg for the Robins, Ash Murray for Woodhouse.

In Group D Loughborough United won 3-1 away at Loughborough Emmanuel, Leon Pennant (2) and Ryan Peacock for United, Kyle Callis for Emmanuel. Goals from Damo Lawrence, Dale Wight, Ian Jardine, Michael Odium and Mar Carroll gave Thringstone MW Reserves a 5-1 win at home to Shepshed Amateurs Reserves, Duane Earp replying for Shepshed.

Windmill Trophies Division Three leaders Sporting Markfield Reserves won 4-0 away at Loughborough United Reserves, Connor McGahan (3) and Billy Taylor with the Markfield goals. Measham Welfare Reserves won 3-2 away at Mountsorrel FC, Paul Hollis (2) and Reece Daniel for Measham, Harvey Kavanagh hitting both the Mountsorrel goals.

A brace from Kevin Howard gave Thorpe Acre a 2-0 win at home against Market Bosworth Reserves, while a brace from Marcus Hagger gave Sutton Bonington Reserves a 2-1 win at home to Quorn Rangers, Gary Warren scoring for Quorn. Bottesford FC Reserves lost 4-1 at home to Woodhouse Imperial Reserves, Josh Adkin (2), Daniel Bryans and Jake Melbourne for Woodhouse, Andy Daybell for Bottesford.
