-

TOTAL MOTION MIDLAND FOOTBALL LEAGUE SHEPSHED DYNAMO 0 COVENTRY UNITED 0 SHEPSHED Dynamo played host to 12th placed Coventry United in a hot tempered game with both teams showing real passion in this gutsy affair.

The game started at 100 MPH with both teams cancelling each other out in the early stages but Coventry had two good chances when Gift Mussa had an half chance that just went over the bar and minutes later a shot from Joe Cairns after some good approach play by Coventry went wide of the post.

Shepshed then had the best chance of the half when a bullet header from Shepshed’s Matt Melbourne was inches wide of the right hand post and seconds later it was Sam Moore’s turn who also had an header but he could not get enough power behind the ball and it looped over the bar.

Shepshed started the brighter in the second half as Jake Betts crashed an header against the bar.

The game started to really open up with Shepshed looking good and were starting to create chances but they came to nothing as the Coventry defence stood their ground and fought of the Shepshed pressure.

Coventry gave as good as Shepshed and they started to become very lively but just like Shepshed their chances came to nothing and they did not bother Ganley in the Shepshed goal.

In the 67th minute Kai Williams went close for Coventry with a superb shot which was turned on to the bar by Shepshed Keeper Brandon Ganley and on 87 minutes he was sent odd for a second yellow after a bad challenge on Shepshed keeper Ganley.

After a short delay for the sending off the game resumed and eventually the game finished with both teams gaining a point a piece.
