Tina takes a starring role in fitness campaign
TINA Vedrine, aged 32, from Loughborough is taking a starring role in a brand-new campaign from Fusion Lifestyle this autumn.
Tina is a member of South Charnwood Leisure Centre, managed by Fusion Lifestyle on behalf of Charnwood Borough Council.
The ‘Return to Fitness’ campaign tells the inspirational stories of Fusion members across the UK and aims to inspire and encourage others from the area to tackle their own fitness goals.
Tina’s story will appear throughout the multi-channel campaign including social media, posters in and around the centre, on the centre website and on flyers which will be seen throughout the community.
A spokesperson from Fusion said: “A few months after having her first child, Tina realised she needed to do something drastic about her five stone weight gain.
“She’d suffered from social anxiety for many years, and so the thought of joining a gym filled her with horror.
“Tina somehow plucked up the courage to join Fusion’s South Charnwood centre and with the warmth and encouragement of the staff and trainers supporting her and a great deal of hard work on Tina’s part, she has managed to lose all the weight, built renewed confidence and has fallen in love with movement again and her daily exercise regime.”
Tina added: “I’m the fittest, most energised and happiest I’ve ever been. I feel proud of myself for getting to where I am now.
“I’d feel lost without my class fixes now and that’s why I wanted to share my story - it’s changed my life for ever and even if I was to motivate just one person to start their fitness journey - it would mean so much to me.”
