Loughborough graduate’s Andy Murray documentary
A FORMER Loughborough University student has made a documentary on British tennis player Andy Murray.
Olivia Cappuccini has created documentary film ‘ Andy Murray: Resurfacing’, based on the ups and downs of Andy’s training process.
The alumna followed Andy and his team for 18 months, capturing his struggles with a long-standing hip injury, followed by his success of winning an ATP title.
The film, which recently premiered on Amazon Video, will primarily interest tennis fans. However, Olivia hopes that people who aren’t interested in sports will also be attracted to the documentary due to the emotions and relationships captured.
Olivia said: “Above all, it’s about his relationship with himself given that he’s faced with the prospect of retirement.”
Olivia graduated in drama with English in 2012, before launching her own film company, Scenes of Reason, in 2014.
