THE next meeting of the John Storer House
Gardening Club is on January 9, at 2pm when the speaker will be Karen Gibson.
Karen is a garden designer and her talk is entitled ‘My Life as a Garden Designer’.
Our December meeting had a very topical theme.
Chris Bantock gave an excellent demonstration on how to produce Christmas arrangements by using greenery and winter flowers collected from the garden.
Chris also made a very attractive wreath intended for a front door and she kindly gave it to the Club for the raffle.
Another example was a display suitable for a hearth or a very large dining table with greenery, roses and candles.
