Road prohibitions in Mountsorrel

LEICESTERSHIRE County Council Highways has agreed to a temporary road closure and temporary prohibition of waiting and loading on Watling Street, Mountsorrel, on February 5 for one day to allow Leicestershire County Council undertake Gully cleansing works.

The road will be closed between Leicester Road and The Navins. Access will be maintained whenever it is safe to do so.

During the works, when required, a ‘Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and

Loading’ restriction will be enforced.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public

safety The proposed alternative diversion route will be via :- The Navins, The

Green and Leicester Road. Leicestershire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during these works.
