Fennel fund-raiser boost to charity

THE Fennel Street Club in Loughborough was delighted to once again host a fund-raiser evening with Di Shepherd for Leicestershire charity Hope Against Cancer.

Di said: “We were all treated to a night of entertainment by dance floor filler Andrew Randell. He helped us raise £620 which is just incredible.”

Di organises these nights every couple of months for the charity, the next being Saturday, March 28, at The Fennel Street Club.

“Everyone just has the most fun, being together with friends for a chat, a couple of your favourite tipples and a good old dance,” said Di, “and we raise money for a great cause. What could be better than that.”
