Still hopeful over village rail stations

BARROWONSOAR Rural Council had still not given up the fight to secure the re-opening of the Barrow, Quorn, Sileby and Syston stations on the London Midland main line.

The council had also asked that an investigation be made into the bus services which were said to be inadequate.
