Shows for adults and children as the comedy festival heads to Conkers

FOR the first time, Conkers, the awardwinni­ng visitor attraction at the heart of The National Forest, is to host Leicester Comedy Festival shows this February.

The shows take place from February 7-8 and include a night of top stand-up comedians, a Kids Joke Spot for budding comedy performers and a leading Peter Kay tribute act.

with over 3,000 performanc­es under his belt, Lee Lard is still being voted the most popular comedy tribute act in the UK. Lee’s outstandin­g tribute to Bolton’s funny man, Peter Kay has now been enjoyed by thousands of fans throughout the UK and abroad.

February 8 - Kids Comedy @CONKERS

Get ready for a great day of entertainm­ent for all of the family. There will be three Punch & Judy shows throughout the day and an amazing Kids Joke Spot, a pop-up interactiv­e activity for young people who want to know what it’s like to be a comedy performer. The children will have the opportunit­y to get on stage and tell their own jokes into a microphone for their parents and passersby to enjoy.
