Defeat for depleted Ingles

INGLES hosted Rainworth Miners Welfare and after a tight first half, Rainworth increased their work rate in the second half to take a 2-0 victory.
In what was a very scrappy game on a tough surface both sides battled but Rainworth’s extra cutting edge gave them the victory.
It was a tough day for the club with 15 players unavailable which meant a number of reserve players started for the first team and some played for both the 1st XI and the Reserve team who lost a seven goal thriller against Earl Shillton.
To boost the squad Ingles have signed defender Mitchell Welch. He was on the books at Gillingham until he was 18 and last season played for Loughborough Uni FC in the Midland Football League.
On Saturday, Ingles face an away game at Gedling Miners Welfare.
