I KNOW, everybody’s trying to convince us to be more “mindful” in everything we do, but there really are some parts of our lives where we could do with paying just a little bit more attention to what’s actually going on.
Less is an app that helps you be more mindful about your alcohol consumption by tracking your drinking over a week, and encourages you to stick to limits you set for yourself.
There’s a bit of a gaming element to it – a virtual on-screen boat sails through calm waters under sunny skies if you stay on track, but things get dark and stormy if you exceed your limits. There are a number of other elements that do their best to keep you on track, including keeping a record of your drink-free streaks, and a collection of articles and podcasts that will fully educate you on the benefits of drinking less, and offer up some recipes for nonalcoholic drinks so you can still enjoy the party.
