Committee names

MEMBERS of the LSU Stage Society for next year have been revealed.

Despite some delays and challenges that have been faced with the current pandemic, the society has announced the members of its committee for next year as it stands.

The current committee is: chair - Niamh Jennings; vice chair and secretary - Christian Gittings; welfare and union coordinator - Paul Thompson; media and marketing officer - Jack Smith; and backstage rep - Anna Jones.

A spokesperson said: “Due to current circumstances we are still missing a few committee members for next year, and since the union staff is furloughed we are not able to officially hold by elections at this point.

“However, we would like to go forward and make sure the committee is left in the best position possible for next year, so we would like to introduce temporary committee members to be officially entered into the system when possible.

“Therefore, if you are interested in any of the following positions please contact the committee member currently in the position to express your interest and get a better idea of the role.

“The roles we still have available are: treasurer - current committee member: Isobel Lawson; social sec x2 - current committee members: Alex Lewis and Caroline Haddow; media and marketing officer x1 - current committee members: Emma Lawrence and Sophie Ingram; technical backstage rep x1 - current committee member: Tadhg Davey.
