Something is definitely brewing at Fosse Park site

-

LEICESTERSHIRE’S Everards has revealed how its new brewery, beer hall and shop will look when it opens.

The independent business’s new home, at Everards Meadows, near Enderby, is set to open in the spring and will create 40 jobs.

Everards opened its Everards Meadows site in summer 2019 and will now be joining Jenno’s Coffee House and Rutland Cycling at the food, drink and leisure destination just off junction 21 of the M1, opposite Fosse Park.

The site, set in 70 acres of green space, will give customers the chance to eat, drink, shop and take a tour of the new brewery.

“This really is an exciting time for us and the beginning of a brand new chapter in our 170-year history” said Everards chairman Richard Everard.

“We are still an independent family business with strong roots in Leicestershire and we are about to move into the sixth generation of the family leading the business as we commence this exciting next chapter.

“We look forward to welcoming customers to our new home where they will be able to enjoy fantastic hospitality while overlooking both the wonderful meadows but also our state- of- the- art brewery. “We will be brewing a great range of beers and of course bringing our famous ‘Tiger’ back to Leicestershire!”

Inside the bright and contemporary food and drink space will be a long bar lined with Everards favourites, brewed on-site.

Large windows behind the bar will enable customers to take in all the brewery action while sipping on their favourite tipple.

Everards’ brewers will be kept busy creating innovative new beers alongside favourites which have been enjoyed over the years.

As well as beer, customers will be able to enjoy an extensive drinks selection including local spirits and a range of hot drinks.

The open kitchen will serve a menu of home-cooked food from full meals to tasty snacks.

As well as enjoying the food and drink, customers will be able to visit the shop and take home a selection of beers so they can enjoy their favourite beer or a limited-edition brew at home.

There will be a wide range of merchandise and great gifts, perfect for any beer lover.

Everards has also confirmed it will be hosting brewery tours, allowing customers to get a behind the scenes look and up-close tour of the brewery, as well as tasting sessions, brewing workshops and many other beer occasions.

The family business will soon be looking to recruit 40 people.

The recruitment campaign began back in November:
