Sileby Athletic share the spoils in eight goal thriller

OLD Aylestone 2013 top the Leicestershire County Football League’s Turner Insurance Services Premiership going into Christmas with a nine-point lead over Houghton Rangers.
This week saw them win 4-0 at home to Iqra FC with goals from Theo white (2), Liam Taylor and James keogh. Houghton Rangers, with three games in hand of Old Aylestone beat Belton Villa 5-0, Arjuna Govia hitting a hat trick with Joey Keaveny and Josh Hurst rounding up the five for Houghton.
In the Fisher German LLP Championship Allexton & New Parks Reserves beat FC Coalville 2-1, Cathal Hogan and Kyle warren for Allexton, Nic Cosnett for Coalville. St. Patricks drew 4-4 with Sileby Athletic, Sam Higgins (2), Dan Higgins and Dan March for St Pats, Jake Rimington, Simon Harper, Joe Wardle and Luke Savage for Sileby.

Only one game in the Dab Civil Engineering Contractors Ltd League Two which saw St Patricks Reserves beat Barlestone St. Giles Reserves 2-1, Shea McKenna and Connor Holland scoring for St Patricks Reserves, Carl Baker for Barlestone.
In the Countryside Insurance Services League Three goals from Michael Noga (2), Talvin Shankar (2), Connor Packwood (2), Piers Wheeler (2), Ford Taylor, Liam Kotecha, Liam Jeffrey and Jonathan Powell-Hayles gave Brookside Athletic a 12-1 win at home to Loughborough United Reserves, Waleed Sbitany for Loughborough. Mountsorrel FC beat Welford Victoria 2-0, Charlie Harris and James Cross on target for Mountsorrel. Sam Sturman (2) and Sam Finlow scored the Birstall Old Boys goals as they ran out 3-0 winners against Woodhouse Imperial Reserves. Northfield Emerald Development won 6-2 away at Broomleys FC, Damian Kewmoss (4), Joe Randall and Reece Elday for Northfield, Kevlyn Evans and Tony Cole for Broomleys. Sutton Bonington Reserves won
