GOLD COLLECTION FOR ST JAMES THE GREATER CHURCH. During these financiall­y difficult times, we are holding a collection of unwanted gold items for St James. OAKS EASTER SWEET SHOP QUIZ. Back by popular demand is another quiz to help alleviate the lockdown boredom and raise funds for St James’ the Greater Church. The cost of a quiz sheet is £5 which should be returned with your completed entry. Copies can be emailed or posted to you in three ways either via email to meh. hayward@gmail.com, telephone mob tel no 07545 817664 or by writing to Mrs Mary Hayward, Birch House, 89 Iveshead Road, Shepshed, Leics LE12 9EP. If you require a copy to be posted, please ensure you send a stamped addressed envelope. Please make sure your entries are returned by Friday, March 26. Cheques can be made payable to OAKS PCC. There are three Easter themed prizes, 1st prize an Easter basket, 2nd prize an Easter egg, and 3rd prize Easter treats. The three prize winners will be chosen from a random draw of names of quizzers who have answered the highest equal number of correct questions. The draw will take place on Wednesday, March 31 at St Botolph’s Church after Morning Prayers.
