EVERARDS’ BEER HALL IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

- By BECKY JONES everardsmeadows.co.uk/explore/ everards-brewery/

CHEERS everyone - the new Everards beer hall has proven to be a great success!

The venture has already enjoyed a few busy weekends as beer-lovers and diners enjoy a fine local pint and a tantalising menu infused with Everards’ favourite brews.

The hall, at the brewery’s new home at Everards Meadows, close to Fosse Park, is an impressive sight, bright and spacious and stylishly appointed.

It boasts a variety of seating options, lots of greenery and nice touches including beer casks dotted around - including one to hold water for dogs.

There’s also an outdoor area, with plenty of seating - some of which is covered by a canopy with hanging greenery.

The recent launch of the beer hall follows the opening of the Everards shop, which took place in May.

At the moment, visitors have to book, so don’t just turn up.

Diners can enjoy brunch, lunch or dinner, and a children’s menu and a gluten free menu are available.

Dishes on the main menu at the beer hall include fish and chips in Sunchaser ale batter, beef and Tiger ale pie, and the Meadows Triple Stacker burger, made up of an 8oz beefburger, barbecue pork belly, chargrilled chicken breast, Rutland Red cheese and baconnaise.

The brunch menu includes The Meadows Full English, with vegetarian and vegan versions available, and the lunch menu includes snacks such as skin-on fries topped with Old Original cheese sauce, and Sparkenhoe Red Leicester cheese scone with butter and Tiger ale chutney.

As well as Everards beers, the drink selection includes local gins, spirits, fizz and a good old cuppa.

While enjoying your food and drink, you will be able to see the

Everards brewing team at work through large glass windows behind the bar, which look onto the new brewery.

In line with government guidance, the beer hall will initially be adhering to the rule of six or two households, and will have table service in place.

Everards opened its Everards Meadows site in summer 2019, and has now joined Jenno’s Coffee House and Rutland Cycling at this food, drink and leisure destination just off junction 21 of the M1.

The site, set in 70 acres of green space, gives customers the chance to eat, drink and shop.

More experiences are set to come in the near future, including brewery tours and the opportunity to brew your own beer.

The beer hall opening times are Monday to Saturday 10am - 11pm, Sunday and bank holidays 10am - 10pm.
