BELVOIR Castle is preparing for what is being described as the “biggest and most spectacular festive season ever staged” at the Leicestershire attraction.

The castle will be transformed for A Regency Christmas, and the historic gardens will be illuminated with a light trail.

Opening on November 15, the castle will be given a festive makeover by interior designer Charlotte Lloyd Webber.

Taking inspiration from the Duke and Duchess of Rutland’s family insignia, the castle will be dressed with Regencyinspired décor, with trees draped in the Belvoir colours of blue and gold along with a festive palette.

Charlotte said: “We are delighted to be working with Belvoir to design its first major Christmas event that will highlight in spectacular festive fashion some of the most famous and gorgeous interiors of this fairytale Regency castle, which is in vogue on the back of the Bridgerton Netflix series.”
