Racetrack plays host to hospice’s spectacular fireworks display

-

TICKETS are selling fast for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People’s Fireworks Spectacular – one of the biggest firework events in Leicester.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 6 from 5.30pm at Leicester Racecourse.

On the night people will be treated to two firework displays, both set to music, and launched by former Leicester City Football Club captain Wes Morgan.

There will also be live music from one of the UK’s leading Abba tribute bands, Planet Abba, the chance to meet Filbert Fox and Billy Bates’ funfair. There will also be food and drinks stalls.

Claire Hoggan, Rainbows Events fundraiser, said: “Last year’s event had to be cancelled due to Government restrictions, so we are delighted to be able to go ahead this year.

“This event is one of our biggest fundraisers and the money it raises for our charity is invaluable in helping us to provide care and support to those children who need it the most.

“There really is something for the whole family so we hope you will come along and join us.”

Ticket prices start at £10 and a family ticket (two adults and up to three children) is £35. Children aged four and under are free.
