Shepshed parade and service
A parade and service returns to Shepshed this Sunday to mark Remembrance.
Due to Covid restrictions last year, Remembrance Sunday was very low key with people being encouraged to commemorate in their own homes.
This year the Parade and Service will be held, although, people need to mindful of possibility of large numbers being in attendance.
The parade, led by the Leicestershire & Rutland County Pipe Band will depart at 3.00pm prompt, from Lambert Avenue, along Charnwood Road/Field Street and into Glenmore Park for a 3.15 pm service in Glenmore Park.
The service will be led by local clergy and accompanied by Hathern Band.
During the parade there will be some traffic delays.
Please note that there will be no refreshments available after the service this year.
