European success for equestrian ace Kyle...

RISING equestrian star Tabitha Kyle is celebratin­g after two weeks of competing in Belgium and the Netherland­s ended with a fantastic six first places.

The Wymeswold 14-year-old, supported by local owners Tabitha’s

local owners, Su and Gordon Hall, took four ponies and two horses to compete in the CSI Youth Festivals in Sentower Park, Belgium and Peelbergen in the Netherland­s.

In Belgium, Kyle secured a first place riding Birdie in the 1.10m Pony small tour and a second place finish on Desterly in the 135m speed class.

Spurred on by that success she claimed a further five first places at the Peelbergen Equestrian Centre in the Netherland­s with the final victories taking place on Sunday.

Kyle’s wins were:

1.25m Pony big tour the 1.25m tour

Z in the 1.15m pony small

Grand Prix 1.30m Pony Grand Prix.
