Concert time

LOUGHBOROUGH chamber choir, Viva la Musica, will be presenting its Christmas concert at Trinity Methodist Church Centre, Loughborough, on Sunday December 12th.

Entitled ‘a capella Christmas’ the choir will sing music by Willcocks, Grieg, Villette, Stopford, Poulenc, Jenkins, Dove...and, of course, Rutter (no Christmas is complete without!)

This will be the choir’s first public performance for two years, since Christmas 2019; lockdown hit the week before it was due to perform at the Guildhall in March 2020.

Sunday’s concert starts at 7pm and the choir will be conducted by Simon Lumby. Seasonal refreshments will be available during the interval.

Tickets are £12.50 (£10 students; under 16s are free) and can be purchased online at www. vivalamusica.org.uk, from choir members or on the door.
