Three teams keep up 100 per cent record

IN THE latest round of League fixtures in the Loughborou­gh and District Pubs and Clubs Darts League three teams across the divisions remain unbeaten and one team lost their 100 per cent record.

In the Bull and Bush Division One the Bottom Railway BA remain unbeaten and are beginning to bridge the gap towards the top with a 6-3 win over Windmill Exiles. The top two took each other on with Barrow Cons Waggs Gang winning 5-4 with a Vern Seaton 116 finish and Tony Spencer with 2 x 180’s and James Hoult with a 112 finish for the Bull and Bush Lions who remain 10 points clear but all other teams have games in hand on them.

The Bush Rejects claimed their first league win of the season with a 5-4 home win over Ring ‘O’ Bells LH and the Royal Oak Shooters beat the Three Crowns Mick the Flicks 7-2.

In the Spot on Division 2 both The Plough Thorpe Acre and the Three Nuns Bluemoon Foxes kept their one hundred percent record and share the lead on 50 points. The Plough beating Spot on LSU Sexy and we throw it 6-3 and the Bluemoon Foxes beating Windmill Blue Army by the same score.

The other two Spot on teams still go in search of their first victory of the season but both went close this week. Spot On LSU 26ers losing 5-4 away to the Bull and Bush Counts and the Guys and Gals losing by the same score to the Riddled with Dartitis Top Railway at home. The Top Railway are three points behind the leading two. In the other game in the division the Bull and Bush Laughing Boys beat the Windmill A’s 6-3 away.

The Royal Oak Old Uns are five points clear at the top of the Three Nuns Division 3 after their 7-2 away win over Three Nuns left Footers. Second placed Three Nuns Albions beat the Crown Shepshed 6-3 with Wayne Dewsbury hitting a 180 for The Crown. The Black Swan JS won 6-3 at home to the Three Crowns Hathern and The Generous Briton Beerlegs beat the Peacock A Team 5-4 at home.

The top two met in the Generous Briton Division 4 and the Top Railway Laffables lost their unbeaten record losing 6-3 to the Spot on Foxes who are 12 points behind them with a game in hand. The Boat Inn (formerly the Dewdrop Black Pearls are third after their 8-1 away win over the White Hart Stags. The Hathern Club beat Barrow Cons Club convicts 6-3 and the Three Nuns Bad Habits beat the Plough Ernies by the same score line.
