Choir to hold concert and appeal for new members

THE Loughborough Ladies Choir will be holding a Lunchtime Concert at Loughborough Baptist Church on December 15 starting at 12.45pm.

This will be the first time they have had a concert since December 2019.

A spokesperson said: “We will be having as guests on this occasion Eleri and David Bristow.

“We shall have Jackie Rotter conducting us and Becky Norton as our accompanist. This has been a very difficult time for the choir as quite a few members have not felt able to come back and sing.

“This concert is all Christmas music and will put you all in a Christmas mood. If we cannot find more new members it is felt that the choir will not be viable.
