New look for county pub after month-long revamp

-

A county pub is set to reopen on Friday (December 10) after a major renovation.

The Quorndon Fox, in High Street, Quorn, has been closed since the start of November.

We were invited in early to bring readers a sneak peek of the changes, which have given the pub a new look and feel.

The new look is intended to be bright and modern while paying homage to the pub’s traditional roots and picturesque location.

Changes include the addition of a private dining area, a new garden and elegantly styled interiors.

Along with a new look, the Quorndon Fox has introduced menu changes.

In addition to lunch and dinner, the pub will now serve a brunch menu, featuring dishes including eggs royale and buttermilk pancakes, pancetta and smashed avocado on sourdough toast.

The opening was due to take place last Friday but was moved to this Friday instead.
