Trollope’s classic tome is now my must-read
TV seems to interest me less and less, though I really enjoyed The Outlaws and Show Trial recently.
Normally at Christmas I re-read Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
But this year I’ve picked up Barchester Towers by the wonderful Anthony Trollope.
If you’ve never read it, you’ve missed a treat.
Was there ever a more odious character than the slippery curate Obadiah Slope?
