‘Help to shape priorities for next four years’
PEOPLE have been urged to have their say on a major blueprint for council services as the consultation approaches its end date of January 21.
Leicestershire County Council is encouraging residents to comment on its aims for the next four years.
Key priorities include tackling climate change, protecting vulnerable people, creating jobs and improving transport.
Residents are urged to have their say at www.leicestershire. gov.uk/the-strategic-plan
Councillor Pam Posnett, cabinet member for communities, said: “Engagement so far has been excellent, with lots of residents having their say on our new strategic plan.
“Though we’re nearing the end of our consultation period, there’s still time for you to get involved and comment on the things most important to you.
“Our strategic plan will help us to deliver excellent services whilst providing value for money to Leicestershire residents.
“The strategic plan will help decide the direction of our county for the next few years, so I’d urge everyone to get involved and have their say.
