Search team rescues injured walker in park
Volunteers from a search and rescue team were deployed to Bradgate Park to search for an injured walker.
Leicestershire Search and Rescue team said it was the second time in two weeks members had been called to the park.
They team went out on Monday (Jan 3) and found the injured person near the Old John folly.
A spokesman said: “The team quickly located and treated a casualty for lower leg injuries and evacuated the person to a waiting ambulance.”
